Ünlü Polyester Sanding Sealer

Wax-free air drying unsaturated polyester resin based sealer. It is a transparent sealer which has high filling power.The properties of its base resin gives the best combination of hardness and flexibility. It results a well filled surface with easy sanding properties

Designed for use on furniture and wood of indoor applications. It is used to fill the pores of  all types of wooden surfaces like veneer, MDF, chipboard and solid wood to prepare an ideal surface for cellulosic, polyurethane, acid curing, acrylic or polyester top coats.

The accelerator should be thoroughly dispersed in the sealer, then the proper amount of hardener has to be added to the volume of mixture aimed to be used at one time . The catalysed mixture should be applied with a suitable spraying equipment as soon as possible in two or three crosswise applications.Time lag between the coats must be less than 20 minutes. 961-0631 Ünlü cellulosic thinner  may be used for thinning purposes   (max10%). Before application, the surfaces should be cleaned from dust and oil. Polyester Sealer should be sanded after 4-5 hours in summer time, 18-20 hours in winter time by using sandpaper no. 180-220 first and sandpaper no. 360-400 at the end.

Since the system contains volatile and flammable solvents, ventillation should be applied in the workshop. Product should be kept away from flame and sources of ignition.Accelerator and hardener must not be stored too closely to each other because of the risk of fire.
